It’s almost time for Fiesta parades to return to the streets of San Antonio, and guess what? SNIPSA will once again make an appearance at both the King William Parade and the 25th annual Pooch Parade! You can catch us strutting our stuff with some royal rescues at the King William Parade, or swing by our booth at the Pooch Parade to snag a SNIPSA Fiesta medal and see some impressive canines in costume. Both of these events are dog-friendly, so bring your pup and fill your cup. It’s time to FIESTA!

Check out this year’s SNIPSA Fiesta Medals, now available for purchase. You can snag one at any of our upcoming adoption events, or swing by the SNIPSA office at 4216 McCullough Ave. So, be sure to grab a medal and show off your SNIPSA pride during your Fiesta festivities!
Fiesta With a New Bestie
Your casa just isn't the same without a lovable cat or dog. All of the animals in our program have been offered a second chance through rescue and rehabilitation, and they are patiently waiting to meet you. All you have to do is browse through our adoptable pets and apply for the special sweetie that catches your eye!
***Our adoption fee includes a veterinary exam, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, dewormers, fecal, heartworm test (dog) Felv/FIV test (cat) monthly preventatives, and a complimentary bag of Science Diet. We also manage non-routine illness to include broken bones, skin disease, and treat countless dogs for heartworms. Our goal is to provide optimal care to ensure your pet is ready and healthy for its new home.***

Pet of the Week
Lucy Lu
I’m Lucy Lu! Who are you?! Well, I’m the sweetest, most playful girl around. I’ll run zoooomies around your heart if you’ll just let me. Originally adopted as a puppy back in 2021, I was sadly returned due to some unforeseen circumstances in my parents’ lives. But despite needing to find a new home, I’m the best dog ever! I love going on walks, playing fetch and showing off my best tricks for Milk Bones. At the end of the day, my favorite thing to do is cuddle up with my loved ones and watch movies. I am great with kids and other dogs, so I should make an easy adjustment to just about any family home. And not to mention, I have the best house manners! My breed is a bit of a mystery, but SNIPSA thinks I’m some kind of Boston Terrier mix. If you want a canine companion that is social, friendly and a little on the silly side, please consider giving me a second chance. I’ll happily take on the role of your new best friend.
