Adoption Information

Please complete an application and allow at least 48 hours for processing. We will notify you immediately after the application is processed.

Adoption fees

Adoption fees for dogs are as follows:
Heartworm positive dogs = $200 (BEEN TREATED)
Heartworm negative dogs = $150
Adoption fee for cats and kittens is $85

Adoption fees include spay neuter surgery, microchipping, heartworm testing (treatment if necessary) and heartworm prevention, age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal float, treatment for internal parasites, flea and tick treatment, and a complete veterinary physical examination.

Application and Contract

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

   1. Be 21 years of age or older
   2. Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household
   3. Understand that SNIPSA, Inc. reserves the right to refuse an applicant

Applications are required to adopt any animal. Applications can be accessed in the Small/Medium/Large/Puppy/Cat_Kitten areas, as well as at the top of this page this page. For the protection of our rescues and SNIPSA, Inc., a signed contract is required at the time of adoption. Upon request, a copy of the contract will be sent to you for review.

GRACE PERIOD

SNIPSA offers a seven (7) day grace period starting on the day of adoption. If, after the seven (7) days, the person (s) who adopted a dog (s) or cat (s) wishes to return the animal (s) they may do so. After the seven (7) day grace period, the adoption fee is non-refundable and will be considered a donation to SNIPSA, Inc.

TAGS – COLLAR - LEASH

Upon arrival for adoption, new owners MUST come with a collar, leash and tag with the animal's name and phone number. This is a non-negotiable policy of SNIPSA.
