Brandy

Brandy is a female, Collie/Shepherd mix, 6 years old. Brandy is a sweet and happy dog that had been living in a home with a family for 6 years, but when they moved, they took her to an area shelter. So, Brandy is now being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio. Brandy is very much a house dog and is 100% housebroken. Brandy loves to go on walks and goes crazy when she hears the words "let's go for a walk!" She has a lot of energy for a 6 year old dog! Brandy also loves outings in the air conditioned car. Brandy is a healthy dog, but does have a thyroid problem. She is on thyroid medication that she takes twice daily. The medication is inexpensive. Brandy gets along with other dogs and with cats. She does like to be the alpha in the group. She is also very people-oriented and loves to please. She is a quick learner and is learning basic commands. Brandy is an all around great dog and ready and eager for a new home; and she comes already trained. She would be a perfect fit into most anyone's family.
