Catfish
Adoption Pending 8.29.10

Catfish arrived to SNIPSA after our local shelter contacted us wanting to know if we might be able to help. Catfish had just been picked up by the animal control truck after having been hit by a car. He had a broken front leg and part of his eye was injured. Plans were made with the surgery specialists in town to repair his leg. He is making a full recovery and is expected to do well, given his young age. His eye has a slight cosmetic defect due to the trauma and part of the reason he earned his name "Catfish." Despite his injuries, Catfish is extremely loving and greets everyone with enthusiasm. He is a great children's dog and will tolerate all sorts of antics from the kids. He also loves cleaning up "spillings" from the high chair. Catfish is cratetrained and sleeps in the laundry room at night without a problem. Catfish will remain a smaller dog and shouldn't be more than 25 lbs or so when fully grown.
