Charlie is a young terrier mix that was picked spotted and brought in with his siblings while walking for a Big Fix spay/neuter event. They were born under a shed in a woman's back yard, and they were very thin and had several spots of hair loss. He was nursed back to health in his foster home and is doing great.

Charlie's foster mom reports that "Charlie can be shy when you first meet him, but once he gets a good belly rub, you're in! He is a well-mannered pet...when he sees me walk towards the treat cabinet, he sits and waits attentively like a little gentleman. :) Charlie loves to go outside and play! He is even trying to retrieve with the other retrievers at home. He knows how to sit, shake, and lay down, and he is also both house trained and crate trained. Charlie gets along with all other dogs, and cats, too. Right now he's learning how to walk properly on the leash. Charlie is a fantastic little guy and he has lots of love to give! Charlie only has one drawback. He has a fear of children under the age of 16 years. He is not aggressive, but they terrify him, even with a lot of exposure, he remains fearful of little people"
