Chepa
Chepa is a 3-year old female Dachshund, currently weighing just 8 lbs, but she is underweight and should weigh about 12 lbs. Chepa is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio after she was rescued from San Antonio's Animal Care Facility. Chepa had been owner-surrendered there just 10 days after she gave birth to a litter of puppies. Her owners kept the puppies, but gave up Chepa. Chepa is an adorable, affectionate, gentle and well-mannered little lap dog who deserves a family that will treat her better than the one she came from! When Chepa was first rescued, she was depressed from being separated from her newborn puppies, but in her SNIPSA foster home, she has started showing her cute personality. She loves playing with the other dachshunds in her foster home. Chepa is heartworm negative, spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped.
