Chesney

Chesney is a male, 2-year old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing 95 lbs. He is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio. Chesney is very good with other dogs and he is cat safe, but should be in a home with older children only. He is a very sweet dog, but hasn’t figured out how big he is yet. Chesney has been through basic obedience training and will need some refreshing as well as an established leader of the pack. He has even had some practice in agility training and special tricks. He loves people and is eager to please. Chesney loves going for walks and relaxing around the house. He is housebroken and crate-trained.

UPDATE ON CHESNEY: Chesney is also very loving and gets along with cats and other dogs. He is obedient in which he will sit on command, stay, and go to bed when told. He does great on a leash and in crowds. He will make an awesome guard dog as he is very protective of his home. We had someone cutting through our yard and we were all watching TV. Chesney went to the window and gave a deep growl to let us know someone was out front who shouldn't be. When we told him it was OK he came back and laid at our feet. Also, he loves to give kisses because he is very affectionate and just wants to be loved. Chesney would be a great addition to anyone's home. He is housebroken.
