Changing lives through responsibility

SNIPSA INC., Spay-Neuter-Inject-Protect of San Antonio, is a non-profit rescue organization founded by a group of Veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to rescuing unwanted and homeless animals from high kill shelters in San Antonio and the surrounding area. San Antonio destroys over 50,000 animals per year, ranking among the highest in the number of animals euthanized per capita in the United States. Most of these animals are adoptable and are destroyed due to lack of public education and available homes.

What SNIPSA does to help

Rescue: Remove animals from high kill shelters in San Antonio and the surrounding area.\\ Rehabilitate: Provide for the medical and behavioral care of the rescued animals.
Re-home: Find permanent placement for the animals.
Responsibility: Educate owners and the general public about the principles of responsible pet ownership.
Resource: Assist with low cost spay/neuter and preventative care.

What you can do to help

Foster animals rescued from area shelters. You provide a loving home and SNIPS provides ongoing vet care, collars/leashes, food and crates.
Staff adoption events in cooperation with local organizations and businesses.
Distribute information or speak to groups regarding SNIPSA and our mission.
