Freddie had probably spent most of his life roaming the area around I-10/Fredricksburg Road in San Antonio. One week before SNIPSA's March Big Fix in that area, Freddie stepped in front of a SNIPSA volunteer's car at a traffic light, then ran away when the light turned green. The day of the Big Fix event, Freddie walked up to the registration table all by himself!! Once again, Freddie and the SNIPSA volunteer were face to face. This time, Freddie allowed the volunteer to place a leash on him. Freddie had scrounged for meals for the last time, his life changed forever that day! That very day Freddie was neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing treatment. He is doing great. Heartworm treatment will not impact his future health. Freddie is a very sweet, affectionate and playful dog. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home. He is also housebroken and crate-trained! He will make a great companion!

Freddie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
