Frito
Border Collie/Spaniel Mix, Male, one year old, will probably weigh about 40 lbs. when he gains his needed weight. Frito was found running stray at the Police Training Air Strip. When he was first rescued, he was very thin. Over the last few weeks he has put on weight, his coat has become shiny and his eyes are bright. Frito is enjoying life in his foster home. In fact, his foster parents think that he had ever been given a bone before now. He did not know what to do with the bone, when first given it. But, he is smart and quickly figured it out! In fact, Frito is very smart and is learning basic commands very quickly. Frito is also very affectionate and loyal. He is usually not more than two steps behind his foster mom. Frito loves receiving attention and being petted. It is obvious he has not had the kind of life he deserves! He is also wonderful with children and other dogs. He is also crate-trained. Frito is playful and enjoys playing ball and tug of war. Frito would make a great family dog! He is in great health, neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped.
