Henry

Henry was found by a SNIPSA Foster, or rather HE found a SNIPSA Foster after being a resident of the streets for a while. Henry wandered up to her as she was leaving her office one day, he was covered in fleas and ticks, emaciated, and clearly dehydrated. She couldn't stand the thought of leaving him there to suffer through the night or run the risk of being hit by a car near her busy office. She scooped him up and took him back to her house for a nice meal, bath, and a serious de-ticking session.

Once he put some weight on his skeletal frame, had a few nights of good rest in a nice warm bed and was feeling like a healthy dog, Henry showed his foster mom what a great dog he is. He is young and full of energy, but is well behaved when asked to be. He will never turn down a game of fetch...he will run after the toy quickly and bring it back to you. Henry is getting used to the life of an inside dog, and can't wait to meet his forever family!

Update by foster:Oh Henry! Henry is a smart young boy who is playful and sweet. Henry loves to play tug-o-war with rope toys, gently taking on all four of his small foster brothers and sisters. This gentle giant gets along well with everyone he meets. He is house trained and crate trained and is a wonderful house guest. He will thrive in future obedience training considering his intelligence and eagerness to please.
