Adoption Pending 12/17/10

So a little about me: I somehow ended up in a pound in Copperas Cove, TX. The people there were nice but they kept saying that they had too many dogs so they may have to put some of us to sleep. I don't really know what that meant but it sounded scary! Luckily some people used the computer to tell a lot of people about all of us dogs in this shelter that needed help. Next thing I knew this nice woman was coming to get me and 4 of my shelter friends and we were off on an adventure. Now we are here at SNIPSA. I remember before I didn't really get to eat very much where I was so I was a little skinny. Now I get to eat twice a day everyday AND even get treats when I am a good boy! My foster mom likes it when I sit before I eat so I do that. I am learning that because I am still young and curious my foster mom likes to have me stay in my crate during the day when she is at work. At first I really didn't like it but she gives me toys and treats so it should be ok. When she gets home I get to play with my foster brothers and sisters. We have so much fun! I love to chase the ball as you can see in some of my pictures and I like the water too. I think I would like a family that wants to have fun and include me in their daily activities. Do you do a lot of exciting things and like to play ball? If you do I say lets meet soon!

From my foster mom:

"He is so sweet and he listens well. Despite his large size, he loves to cuddle and is very gentle when wanting to lay down next to anyone. Hollister is fairly quiet, doesnt bark much; but will love on a toy for the rest of the night. He is wonderful around cats and our other dogs. He would be a happy addition to anyone's home."

Newest update from Hollister's Foster mom: "He is also houstrained, sits, stays, shakes, high fives, and is working on lay down...very very smart and affectionate dog!"
