Jackie

Jackie is a 2 year old pit bull mix who weighs approximately 40 pounds. Jackie was found lost, wet, and hungry. Here is a tidbit of Jackie's rescue story from her rescuer: "It was raining the day a VIA bus almost hit her and then I almost hit her with my car. I rescued her and she was just shaking and so skinny. She looked like she had been on the street for a while. Nevertheless, I tried to find an owner for her and could not. She has a shiny coat that is brown with white, and beautiful green eyes."

She is a very energetic, very active girl. She loves to go for walks and loves to roll around on the grass. She is friendly with our other two dogs (labs) but she is very protective with our house and she barks whenever anyone knocks on the door. She has a great appetite and has gained some weight since she was found. She would be good in a home with adults who could spend time with her and take her for daily walks. She does well around people and other dogs. Jackie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped.
