Full-time Adoption/Foster Coordinator:

SNIPSA is seeking a full-time salaried person to join our team of helping homeless animals in the San Antonio area. San Antonio is on the fast track to becoming a No-Kill city and many core partners are essential in making this long-time dream a reality. Our non-profit has been incorporated for over 6 years and is primarily volunteer driven with limited staff. Our work consists of saving lives through our adoption program and spay/neuter outreach. We are currently seeking an outgoing, responsible, mature and self-motivated individual to run our adoption and foster program. Individual must be willing to multitask and work in a “chaotic” environment at times. Saving lives is not always easy work but is very rewarding to unite once homeless animals with new families. Primary duties include selecting animals from area shelters for our adoption program, scheduling and hosting adoption events at various businesses, reviewing adoption applications, coordinating volunteers to assist with adoption events, serving as primary liaison with foster families, growing the foster program, photographing animals for website, marketing/social media as it pertains to adoption of animals, creative writing skills to promote animals, and basic computer skills. Must have a working knowledge and passion for animals. Most importantly, must be a good team player with a strong work ethic. Work schedule includes 4 weekdays and Saturdays as this is often when adoption events are held. Please submit resumes to snipsahr@gmail.com
