Looking for Life Savers

Every volunteer effort at SNIPSA is welcome as we work together to realize the dream of San Antonio becoming a No Kill community. There are occasions when we need assistance with small things that require as little as 30 minutes yet have a big impact. These can include: taking a dog for a walk, posting flyers on local community boards, picking up dog and cat food, or even cleaning surgical instruments. If you have a few hours to volunteer, we can always use help at adoption events where you will be able to spend time with a dog that usually needs a good leg stretch or two during this time and a few extra cuddles and personal attention will be always be rewarded with a happy tail!

If you love dogs or cats but cannot offer a life-time home, we desperately need temporary housing to rescue animals from the euthanasia room. There is a direct correlation between the number of animals we are able to save and the number of foster families available. Fostering is one of our largest needs and a vital component to help our community achieve No Kill status. All that we ask is that you provide a safe and loving place for these animals in their journey to their forever home. SNIPSA provides complete medical care and food to our foster families for their four legged house guest.
