Macy

Macy is an 18-month old female pit bull/retriever mix weighing 45 lbs. She is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio. Macy's story is the same as so many other unwanted and abandoned dogs in San Antonio. She was picked up by animal control in Alamo Heights after mysteriously appearing on a resident's doorstep. Macy proceeded to give birth to 8 puppies two days following her impoundment. SNIPSA received a call from the Alamo Heights police chief asking if we might help. Being a pit mix, it was unlikely that Macy would be reclaimed. SNIPSA secured a foster home for Macy where she was able to raise her pups in a healthy environment. All the puppies have done well and Macy has completed her task of motherhood. Her puppies have all been adopted, but she is still waiting for her forever home. Macy is affectionate beyond measure. She LOVES children and she is such a sweet & gentle dog. Macy loves accompanying her foster family on walks. She is an excellent exercise partner! If you are searching for a special companion, you need to consider sweet Macy. She is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped.
