Max

Max is a male, 18-month old Border Collie mix weighing 64 lbs. He is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio after he was rescued from Schertz Animal Care Facility. Max had been owner-surrendered because he had grown "too large" for their family. Max is a wonderful, calm, gentle, mild-mannered dog. He gets along great with other dogs, with cats and with children. He is very affectionate and lovable. He is 100% housebroken and also crate-trained. He is very intelligent and eager to please. He walks well on a leash and enjoys playing with and retrieving tennis balls. He also loves going on walks and jogging with his foster mom. Max would make an ideal family companion and is the kind of dog that would make an easy transition into any family situation. He will need a home with a large fenced yard in which to exercise and play, but he's just as happy lying at your feet while you relax. Max is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped.
