Petit

Petit is a male hound mix puppy born approximately September 30, 2009. He weighs 35 lbs but will grow larger. His mother is a 50 lb hound/lab mix.

UPDATE: Petit lives with a bunch of big dogs and loves to run and play with them. Every morning he runs outside and stands on the steps and greets all of them with kisses. He is a typical “younger” brother and loves to follow the older ones around. He is completely housebroken and crate trained. He loves to play with toys. He is still trying to master walking on a leash but it is so hard to walk on a leash when there are so many things to explore. He adores kids, especially teenagers. He like to hang out with the teenage boys while they play x-box and cheer them on. He is sweet and completely adorable. He will make someone a great pet and would love a canine companion.

The dogs came to SNIPSA after we received a plea from another rescue group who had received the call on their hotline. They went out but were not able to find space within their group to take in such a large family. Luckily one of our wonderful puppy fosters was open and more than glad to welcome them home. They had been living under a car in the backyard of an abandoned house. They are thriving now, healthy and happy and getting better every day! All of the puppies have been completely weaned from mom and are living in private foster homes. All of the puppies are very loving and very people oriented. They are making great progress on their house and crate training. They all know their names and will come when called.
