Piper

Piper is a male, approximately 3-year old terrier mix weighing 16 lbs. He is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio after he was rescued from a very neglectful situation. Piper had spent his life living on a chain and his collar was embedded in his neck! We are baffled how anyone could neglect such a sweet, snuggly little dog in this manner. In fostercare, Piper quickly learned the "house rules" and makes a great watchdog. He is housebroken, he is affectionate and adorable. Besides enjoying Kong toys and balls (even all by himself), he especially likes taking naps on or next to your lap. Piper does a delightful little dance when it’s time for dinner and he 'sits' for a milkbone dessert! Piper loves people and other dogs, but he would do best in a home without smaller, very young children. He has been neutered, he's current on vaccinations and he is microchipped.
