Pongo

Pongo or pogo could be this guys name! Pongo is a happy, go-lucky young dog that is excited to have a second chance at life. He was picked up by San Antonio Animal Care Services as a stray that was dirty and matted beyond belief. He was sitting in the back of his cage not looking happy or energetic because of his condition. He was so bad that volunteers at ACS shaved him down while he was there to see if he would feel better and get a better chance at being adopted during his stray hold! What a world of difference this made! Immediately Pongo's personality began to shine. This boy loves to play with other dogs and will play ball with children and adults for hours. He is happy and energetic, loves going for his evening walks and has never met a stranger. Pongo will do great in an active family that wants to include their four legged companion in their lifestyle. When his coat comes back in it will be full and beautiful again, although with the TX heat this guy is enjoying his "naked" look and staying cool!
