Meet "Poor Boy"- SNIPSA's latest orthopedic project. We are getting to be old hats at finding dogs that require amputation. Poor Boy just happened to be at the right place for his future. A SNIPSA volunteer picking up another dog from ACS was alerted to this injured pup. Amazing how stoic animals can be- having lost the bottom third of his rear leg and still wagging his tail. The phone calls were made and plans orchestrated. A trip to South Texas Veterinary Specialists for yet another surgery. But how could we leave this 11lb pup behind?
