Hi there, I’m Ruffles! I came into SNIPSA because my old owners left me all alone in their house after our house was foreclosed. Some of the neighbors were giving me water and food. The neighbors called animal control to pick me up, but a volunteer involved in the inspection of the property found me sitting there all by myself still. The caring volunteer wrapped me in a blanket and brought me to their home. I was very shy and scared, but once I realized that I was in a loving place, I calmed down and settled in. Now I couldn’t be happier, aside missing having a family of my own, at least I know that I am safe and loved. My foster mom says that I am brilliant because I already know how to use the doggie door! I LOVE my squeaky toys, and my favorite game is tug-o-war with my foster brother Chester. I love to play with children, and I do not mind cats at all. I’ve never been on a leash before, but I want very much to please my foster parents, so I am working hard at getting good at walking with one. My foster mom says that I am smart, but really I just want a family to love me, and call me their own.
