Sampson

Sampson is a two year old, 50 lb., neutered male, Pointer/Shar Pei mix. He ended up at the shelter without any hair and was skin and bones. He was slated for euthanasia when a SNIPSA volunteer met him. Although he was too weak to stand up, when he saw her, his tail began to wag. That was when she knew Sampson had too much life in him to be euthanized! He is now in foster care in a home in San Antonio. His hair has grown back and he has put on weight. He is in fact in great health. He has a lot of life in him now--- he is loving, happy and playful. He favorite pastime is to "point" at the birds in his foster home. He is great with other dogs, children and just a little curious about cats. He is just happy to be with anyone and everyone, as if he knows he has been given a second chance at life. Everyone he meets is his best friend! He is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and is heartworm negative. He is ready to go to his new forever home!
