Sydney

Sidney is a male, approximately 4-year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever currently weighing 60 lbs, but he could stand to gain a few pounds. Sidney is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio after he was rescued from San Antonio's Animal Care Services, where he came in as a stray.

Sidney appears to have had a bit of a rough life to this point, or at least a rough time as of late. He is slightly underweight, has some skin issues and tested heartworm-positive, BUT none of this has been a setback for this wonderful dog. Sidney is the sweetest boy we have met in quite some time. He adores his foster mom and will lay patiently by her side throughout the day. He loves to have his ears scratched and has perfected the "lab lean". Sidney loves to go for walks and does well enough so that children can walk him without any problems. Sidney gets along great with other dogs and is fabulous with children of all ages. Sidney has been treated for his heartworms, which will have no long term effects on his overall health.
