Penny Nohsey

Veterinary Technician

SNIPSA is delighted to introduce our new employee, Penny Nohsey, well established in the veterinary field with years of experience under her belt. Penny worked for the speciality hospital in San Antonio for five years and served as head technician at an emergency hospital for five years before that. Not only is she is adept at serving animals but also a huge supporter of the rescue mission. After attending one Big Fix, her interests were peaked and she decided to join our team. A native San Antonian, she has one adopted dog and two cats. She has plans to finish her Bachelor's in Sociology this next fall. And as if catering to the animals in San Antonio is not enough, Penny is the aunt to quadruplets- yes, that is right, quadruplets. So that keeps her busy in her spare time!!

Abigail Curry

Abigail has worked for SNIPSA since the summer of 2012 serving as our Marketing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. Abigail has always embraced a love for animals since she was a young girl and worked with San Antonio Pets Alive prior to joining SNIPSA. She loves to use her creativity for maintaining SNIPSA’s website featuring animals for adoption and promoting articles related to homeless animals and their education. Other than her passion for saving animals, Abigail also has an undying passion for music. She is a singer/songwriter and is in the process of recording her own music, and has recently recorded backup vocals for a well-known Texas Country artist. She loves to spend her Sunday afternoons at the lake with her 2 rescues, Boston (Pit Bull mix) and Kai (Boxer/Pointer mix). Abigail is personable and willing to tackle almost any project that is handed to her. She hopes to one day have a Pit Bull rescue of her own.
