STUDENTS SAVING STRAYS
We have been so inspired by the involvement and projects of our school age volunteers that we have created a program just for them. The program is called "Students Saving Strays." Teachers, coaches, youth group leaders, and others will be asked to involve their students in the program by providing the initial leadership and the kids will take over from there. Each organization will be asked to raise a minimum of $200 to sponsor a rescue animal. Money can be raised through donations, allowances, fundraisers, or any other means they can think of. The group will then receive photos and information about its rescue dog and will be listed on our website as the sponsor of that rescue. Educational information will also be provided to the group to review in class and to take home to parents. Students will receive information when the animal is adopted and in certain circumstances may receive a visit in their classroom or at a meeting by that rescue dog! For more information on getting your classroom or youth group started please contact Becky at snipsainctx@yahoo.com.
