Tasha

Tasha is a 4 year old, pure-bred female Yellow Labrador Retriever. She weighs 65 pounds. As a puppy, Tasha was originally auctioned off at a "Ducks Unlimited" fundraiser. She was a wonderful family dog, but after a job loss, her family had to sell their house and move to an apartment. That is when Tasha was turned into the Schertz animal shelter. She was rescued from the shelter and is now living in foster care with SNIPSA. Since coming to her foster home, she has been spayed, become current on her vaccinations, microchipped and has undergone treatment for heartworms. She is thriving in her foster home. She loves to play in the water and even enjoys being sprayed with water hose. She likes to follow her foster family around the house and lounge on the floor. Tasha is crate trained and gets along well with other dogs does not bother cats. Tasha also has a docked tail. This was from some sort of accident when Tasha was a puppy.
