Teddy
Teddy is a 2 year old, Male Great Pyrenees. He is being fostered in a private home in San Antonio after he was rescued on a major highway in a rainstorm. When his rescuer stopped the truck to call out to him, Teddy immediately ran and jumped into the truck and went to sleep in the passenger's seat. He is extremely loyal, loving, affectionate, and eager to please, but unfortunately it seems that he has never had a family of his own. Teddy loves to shake hands, enjoys running on leash, riding in the car, loves to watch TV and thinks he is a lap dog! He has not been kid tested, but would probably do better in a home with adults or older children, because of his size (88 lbs). His ideal home would be one where he will receive A LOT of love and attention! It is obvious that he has not had that before. Teddy loves to spend time indoors, but will also need a secure fence. He does better with female dogs and is NOT cat safe. If you love dogs and are looking for a life companion who is loyal and truly deserves a forever home - please consider this boy!
