About Me
Mmm-mmm, don’t you want a taste of these adorable Texas rescues? Prickly Pear and Jalapeño are two of the best flavors of the Lone Star State. This pair was initially part of a litter of eight that was rescued with their mama, Miss Texas. After a few weeks, these adorable siblings are the last ones left from their pack!
Prickly Pear is a loving little girl who is thriving in her foster home! She has a playful, joyful temperament and loves running around with the other resident dogs. We estimate she will grow anywhere from 30-50 pounds, so she will also be a great size one day! Prickly Pear is your classic example of a “San Antonio Special,” but our best guess is that she has some Labrador Retriever and Border Collie mixed in. Both of these breeds are known for their intelligence and fun-loving attitudes. If you live an active lifestyle or have children, this pup might be the perfect addition to your home. At her young age, she will adjust well to most home environments as long as you can offer an adequate amount of time, training and patience. I’m Lucy Lu! Who are you?! 🤗 Well, I’m the sweetest, most playful girl around. I’ll run zoooomies around your heart if you’ll just let me. Originally adopted as a puppy back in 2021, I was sadly returned due to some unforeseen circumstances in my parents’ lives. But despite needing to find a new home, I’m the best dog ever! ❤️🩹 I love going on walks, playing fetch and showing off my best tricks for Milk Bones. At the end of the day, my favorite thing to do is cuddle up with my loved ones and watch movies. I am great with kids and other dogs, so I should make an easy adjustment to just about any family home. And not to mention, I have the best house manners! 🐾 My breed is a bit of a mystery, but SNIPSA thinks I’m some kind of Boston Terrier mix. If you want a canine companion that is social, friendly and a little on the silly side, please consider giving me a second chance. I’ll happily take on the role of your new best friend. ✨
