MEET BRIDGETGreat Pyrenees, Young Adult
Bridget wound up in a rural shelter after she was picked up as a stray in pretty tough shape. After her stray hold was up, she was rescued by SNIPSA. She has since been vetted, spayed and microchipped. She had terrible ear infections in both ears and we had to shave one of her ears in order to treat. The ears are clearing up from the infection and the hair is growing back. She is doing great in her foster home. She is one of the sweetest dogs to ever come through SNIPSA. She is like most Great Pyrenees, she has a calm and sweet temperament. She is very submissive. It was apparent that she was used to being an outdoor only dog and had never been inside a house until her foster home. It took her a day or two to realize what a dog bed was and that being inside out of the cold or heat, was a good thing. Now she runs inside straight to her dog bed! She gets along great with dogs of all sizes and doesn’t seem to mind cats. She is house trained and does great in her crate at night and when left alone.
