Hoboken surely caught your eye with his cute speckled body and flippy floppy ears. And then upon further inspection of those adorable pictures, you noticed that Hoboken is one leg short of other pups! That’s right, Hoboken is our little tripod! Hoboken has definitely had a different life than a regular puppy. At about 4 weeks old, Hoboken found himself in a bout of mischief to say the least- he began losing motor function in his legs and was unable to use either of his front legs in any way. We would have to support his head to eat and help him to stand up. But after weeks of working with him, Hoboken began to get stronger. His left front leg is now fully functioning and is strong as ever! Unfortunately, Hoboken was never able to regain function in his right front leg and has since underdone his amputation… and we can say it’s for the better! The amputation was a breeze and he has not missed a beat! With his 3 functioning legs, Hoboken is just as playful as any and keeps up with his foster siblings. He wrestles all day or chases after the toys. Hoboken loves to be snuggled and will steal your pillow just as fast as he’ll steal your heart. Want to be the best part of Hoboken’s rescue story?
