Looking For A New Pet?
Your home just isn't the same without a lovable cat or dog. All of the animals in our program have been offered a second chance through rescue and rehabilitation, and they are patiently waiting to meet you. All you have to do is browse through our adoptable pets and apply for the special sweetie that catches your eye!
***Our adoption fee includes a veterinary exam, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, dewormers, fecal, heartworm test (dog) Felv/FIV test (cat) monthly preventatives, and a complimentary bag of Science Diet. We also manage non-routine illness to include broken bones, skin disease, and treat countless dogs for heartworms. Our goal is to provide optimal care to ensure your pet is ready and healthy for its new home.***

Second Thursday at the McNay is back and better than ever! You just can’t go wrong with live performances, DIY crafts, food trucks, handcrafted margaritas and SNIPSA’s adoptable rescues. Sprawl out on the grassy lawn and enjoy the outdoor festivities, or take advantage of free admission to the main gallery until 9 p.m. Just don’t forget to stop by the SNIPSA tent to take a peek at our precious puppies!

From camping to hiking to fishing, you’ll want a buddy by your side for all your summer adventures! On May 11th, SNIPSA is returning to Whole Earth Provision Co. to debut some super cute rescue animals. We’ll have plenty of doggos to choose from, as well as some kitties, too! So, prepare to take on the great outdoors (or indoors) with a furry friend that stands above the rest!

Miss Texas
YEEEHAAAWWWW!! Well, bless your heart – you finally found me! 🤠
I’m known round these parts as Miss Texas, and I’m looking for a new family. I have an easygoing, cheerful nature that leads me to get along with everything and everyone. Ideally, my adopters will have lots of snuggles to offer, and a few other pets/kids for me to rough n’ tumble with. Right now, my favorite activities are playing with the pups in my foster home and cozying up in front of the TV. I’ve also got some basic commands under my belt according to my foster mama! I will come when called, sit on command and walk perfectly on my leash. I am always ready to please my folks…treats are just a yummy bonus. Another small brag of mine is that I load up perfectly in the car. Yup–I’ll gladly join you on any adventure. So, if you want a dog who is as sweet as sunshine, apply to take me home! ☀️🌵
